Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with the most current techniques and the highest quality materials available in dentistry.  We understand that you, or someone in your family may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs and are known for our ability to  make you feel at ease.  We strive to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.

Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health.

Adults should expect that during your first visit, we will:

  • Review your dental and medical history forms
  • Thoroughly examine your face, mouth and teeth
  • Take X-rays, photographs and impressions as needed of your teeth and mouth

We will study these records and reappoint you for a consultation visit where we will present an ideal treatment plan and options which you may have for treatment.  We will answer any questions and help you afford the dentistry you need and deserve.  There is no additional fee for this consultation appointment.  The first visit may take as long as 2 hours for some persons so please allow us time to do our best.

Bring your smile to the first appointment, but also remember to bring these with you:

  • Your completed patient information form
  • Your medical history
  • A list of any drugs and vitamins which you take
  • Any insurance or HSA information if applicable

A first visit for children will usually involve an examination, x-rays (if they are needed),  a cleaning of the teeth and a fluoride treatment.  Children under 3 may be seen on a parents lap and learn about the good things and happy times we have at the dentist's office.  It's all about giving children a positive experience and lifetime of dental health.

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
